Volleyball Career
Since she was in school, Bre has played volleyball. She set a kills record at the “Canyon Del Oro (CDO) High School” and won a letter in volleyball for four years in a row. Additionally, she was listed on the “CDO Honor Roll.” ‘Gatorade National High School Volleyball Player of the Year’ was another honor Bre received in 2001. She was a standout middle hitter for the “Arizona Wildcats,” the volleyball team of “Arizona University.” Bre played for Tuscan’s ‘Club Cactus’ junior volleyball squad for four years in addition to her school and collegiate teams. Among her many accolades were “Arizona Republic Arizona State Player of the Year” and “Tucson Citizen.” Bre recorded the most blocks (124) and the greatest blocks per game average (1.09), both of which were first in “Arizona” freshman history, in 2002. Bre was a member of the 2001 USA junior national team and competed in the ‘Women’s Junior World Championships’ in Santo Domingo and Santiago, Dominican Republic.
Not only did Bre play volleyball, but she also mentored deaf pupils at the ‘Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind.’
